30 Stanwich Road finally gets a deal, albeit direct...was it because it looked fresh and young? Was it because the price was reduced to something attainable versus the current competition? On and off the market since 2007, with some top producing agents, as high as $6,950,000 - this property did not get a deal until yesterday - current list $4,975,000
Who knows the whole story except for those directly involved.... but the after effect of making this home look fresh and relevant certainly didn't hurt.
Sellers claiming that buyers can "look beyond" certain things, are mistaken. Fewer days = more money....so why wait?
