Real Estate is still Local, Vocal with a dash of Yocal


In an effort to gain an edge, satisfy my curiosity, learn as much as I can about the business, I am constantly going to classes, taking on line courses, and doing the research that it takes to be the best. 

  • Great Website - check (I built it myself)
  • Mobile Presence - check
  • Blog - check (since 2009)
  • Tech skills - double check
  • Creating videos - check
  • Google +
  • Linked in
  • Facebook
  • Twitter
  • Pinterest
  • Yelp (WIP)
  • Sense of urgency - whether listing a property or working with a buyer - double check

In today's meeting - it was emphasized, more than once, how important it is to be technologically relevant and superior. 

Guess what I CONSTANTLY see - the opposite.

NOT SO MUCH

With all the new systems in place, we have the ability to list a property WITH PHOTOS immediately, unless of course you must depend on someone to do this for you...in some cases, I sort of get it - but still - do the prep and post everything at once.

So 1/3 of today's new listings on our MLS are without photos - it's just unbelievable. This is what it looks like:

 
I always try to put myself in the client's shoes - if this was how my listing got started - I would be less than impressed....
